The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate, master's, and doctorate degrees. The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The Mayborn College of Health Sciences and the Master of Public Health courses address the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) core areas of responsibility, which are defined by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC). The Public Health Program at UMHB is in applicant status with the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
The baccalaureate and master's degree programs in nursing within the Scott & White School of Nursing at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (ccneaccreditation.org).
